Museum Admission
GiftAid is quick, easy, and it doesn't cost you any extra, all you need is to be a UK taxpayer. For every £1 you spend today, we receive another 25p in government support. As a thank you, you will get free entry to the Museum with your ticket for the next year! With our rotating special exhibitions that's a fantastic opportunity to learn more and continue to be inspired in new and different ways.
Museum Admission tickets cover entry to the historic house and special exhibition. We also have a tearoom and gift shop for visitors to enjoy. The museum generally closes at 17:00, with last admission one hour before closing time, and tearoom closure thirty minutes before. Occasionally it is necessary to close space(s) to the public during opening hours. At certain times of year, including Christmas, we operate amended opening hours.
Museum Admission allows for self-guided exploration. Guided tours are available out of hours and should be booked separately.
Admission is in fifteen minute intervals for the safety and security of all. Pre-booking enables you to plan your day. We will be flexible where possible on early or late arrivals but visitors may encounter a short wait if the historic house is at capacity. There is no pre-booking available for national scheme holders such as Art Pass, ICOM and Museum Association. Simply present a valid card at the ticket desk upon arrival.
Groups of 10+ can benefit from a discounted rate by contacting groups@dickensmuseum.com to make your booking.
