Extra/Ordinary women below stairs! Easter holiday tour for families

Friday 10 April 2026, 10.30am, 12:30pm and 2.30pm

Join the servants’ team at 48 Doughty Street! Find out about the daily lives of the (mostly female) servants who kept houses like this running smoothly.
Do some dressing up and explore the different jobs they did around the house with hands-on activities and object handling. Then get an instant picture of yourself doing your favourite job as a souvenir.

For families with children aged 5-9 years old. The event will last 1 hour, 15 minutes

£10.95 per adult/child - we know that families come in all shapes and sizes, so rather than have an adult fee and a child fee; we charge the same entry price per person.

We do require that in every booking you have at least one adult and one child.

Following the event you are welcome to continue to explore the house and visit the exhibition.
